Hello everyone, its almost 2 yrs since i posted anything here, in China FB, Google, twitter, Youtube and many other sites are blocked and we have no access.

In these 2 yrs i saw many ups and down but like is all about that, a rollar coster ride on unknown track where you never know where and when next turn or bump will show up. Keep going and keep fighting is what we have always been thought and let me tell you that it helps. Our old parents, relatives, crazy uncles whatever told us when we were small, dint made sense but when you experience it and face it then you will realize that "oh!!! yes, i have heard this when i was young".

Its almost my 7 yrs in China and guys, in real ways i have seen China changing and developing, before Olympics and after Olympics, its so different.

Will try to update whenever i can get access to my blog in China. Posting some recent pictures for you all.

Xin nian kuai le

Dear Friends,
Like Christmas in other countries,China have Spring festival which they call it as "xin nian kuai le" meaning happy new year. Its the biggest festival of China and during this time almost everything gets closed and come to rest. During this time people come back home for get together and celebrate this festival with family,friends and relatives(My Indian friends can relate it with Diwali).
You can find lot of red candles and lights. I took some pictures for you all so you can enjoy it as i enjoyed it with my friends here...

Shouguang China Vegetable Fair 2008

As promised to all my friends on Internations CHINA group about veg fair pictures in Shouguang.
Its unique as it is always and it has the charm of attracting all those who wants to see beautiful things.

Some of the pictures from Shouguang International vegetable fair which is held in April of every year and this year in 2008 is exceptional with many exibition hall with differnt kinds of vegetables grown using latest scientific technology.

Highlight of the fair is that the vegetables grown here never dies and it is always fresh.

A must destination for all who loves such exceptional shows.

Indian Classical Dance

Its pretty long time since i uploaded something on my blog but i was trying to write something and many a times in china i was not able to access my blog and i am sure you all also must be facing the same problem when it comes to accessing blog.
Last month we had Indian dance program in china and it was really really impressive to watch and 2 professional performers did there trick and got everyones attention.

Dear Friend, recently some of my Indian friends visited to my city shouguang.

It was nice to meet all the fine people and to spend quality time with them. We had lot of good time together and we visited to many places.

I will cherish it and it will always make me smile when i will think of the time we spend and the fun we had... God bless you all for giving me so wonderful time.

When you are in problem then people always say "Take it easy,it will pass" but only the sufferer knows that how difficult it is to go through the time which he feels is against him but again.... isn't that a LIFE...
LIFE teaches us everything, it makes us suffer, it makes us happy and it makes us worry for things which only we create or we need. I have friends and i have seen them worried for the same things which used to make them proud and happy.. why is that? the things which make us happy only makes us sad in later part.

why we cant cheerish things for what we have and thank god for it that we are better off then many many people who dont have even food to eat or bed to rest...

Sorry friends, past few weeks were too hectic and too tiring so i could not get chance to write for you all.
You can see my office building at left.

For me work is meetings and meetings and meeting every kind of people from different field of life gives me thrill and makes me learn so many things out of life and work.

People here are great and very down to earth and if you can master the language then it is best place to live with tall green trees, clean country side, eye catching landscapes.... its just wonderful.

China is beautiful country with lot of opportunities.I go out for many business meeting and meet many people and during this phase i learn lot of things about chinese business style and its culture.
But life in china is little difficult for foreigners as it is not english speaking country and learning chinese is difficult because of its dialects.Its difficult to make friends because of language problem though i have met some really nice people who really try to make me feel comfortable.

I have visited many parts of china, from north to south and met many people but the people from north follow more culture then south.

Christmas is celebrated here also....

At X-mas party along with other local and foreign guest who resides in the city.
One good thing about china and its government is that they give lot of value and honour to foreign investors.
Such social activities are organized by government and attended by top leaders of the city.
There are variety of programs in such parties and offcource drinks are on the house...

Sharing some light moments with local friends here and as you can see that my friend here is so happy to get crab in his dish(lol)...

Visiting great vegetable fair... the show is memorable.

As you can see the huge vegetables they grow here and also the interiors design of the fair is mind blowing... I give five star(*****), a must see place.

Hello friends, View my picturs in and around china...

This was my first picture in china when i went out with team to see the park. That day is very memorable day as it was first time we all went outside for fun ....

Now some business, Some local and provincial leaders visited and wanted to see how indian software industry work and what is IT in it(hehe).

It was good opportunity to meet the local leaders and Exchange cards .....

Many days passed and still i am fighting with myself. I am happy go lucky person but something is missing in my life after my mother left us.
Wish i could meet some one who can care and understand me..
I am tired of being lonely.
I surely miss my mother and i miss her a lot.
If i could meet god...
They say time heals all and i am just waiting for time to pass. Good things will happen and i am sure of it but when, it is again matter of time........

Those days...

I never write what i experience but these days have made me so empty and lonely that i have no one to share my thoughts. So here i am with my thoughts and writing what made me think and think but gave me nothing in return....
I came to china in year 2004 with 5 more Indians to lead a IT team and work for Joint venture company. Dint know much about china and its culture but the excitement of going to China was high and the offer was good. My mother and family were little scared as it was time of SARS.
Some how i convinced my family that how i can support them financially and since my mother was ill that time and lot of money was required for her treatment. So all in all i joined the team and landed in Beijing.
It was cold in Beijing and i felt Beijing have air conditioner every where. i was told that the office is in shandong province and company has hired Car for remaining journey. Somehow fighting with cold i reached to the destination with my team in early hours of morning.
We all wanted to sleep as the journey was long and dint get chance to spread our legs while sleeping but we were informed that we have meeting after 2 hours so we should be ready.
I am a vegeterian(i left eating meat 4 years back against animals killing) and when i was offered food at round moving table, i was so surprised to see the variety of non-veg dishesh they can serve(they can almost eat any things which moves) but the host were kind enough to arrange vegetable for me and told me that if you want to work in china and survive then i must learn to eat non-veg, i must learn to drink. I was informed that is is chinese culture and i should follow them as leaders do.
All in all, next 3 days went in completing all the formalities and meeting and learing how to match with chinese culture.
It was time to join office but to my surprise the office was not ready and i was suppose to lead the techical team of the company as Vice General Manager. I was told its a new Joint venture(JV) company and we are its first team so we will together design the office according to our standard.It was again a learning process and challenging to do startup something new in a country where i can not communicate.
finally we got things done with lot of confusion and misunderstanding but it was as i said a learning experience.

After joining office the first thing i did was to send this picture to my family so they can feel relaxed...... It was my first office where i could sit alone and work...

Shouguang is famouse for vegetable and it is also called as vegetable city.
Every year there is big vegetable fair where they exibite all kind of vegetable and the sight is really amazing. You must see it to believe it.......

When i stand others start running away..
There is funny story behind it.Maybe in spare time i will write about it.
But this woman surely feels shy of me. I think i am grown up now....

My Office Location.....

In business meetings which is actually my job..... meet and keep meeting till they agree for what the company need.
I did not mention it but actually my company provide all kind of IT services to all type of industry....
